Store Policies
BoldenMicroscope.com offers the following
Returns Policy: - 14 Day return policy on most product purchased from our store. We must receive the product in the same packaging and condition in which it was originally shipped.
- All products on hand are held for 24 - 48 hours so that we may inspect all orders before they leave our store.
- Some products are shipped to you direct from the Manufacturer, which may cause increased shipping delays. If this is a concern please contact us and inquire about the product you wish to order.
- There may be a restocking fee on any returned item up to 15% of its purchased price.
- All orders that are shipped to Ohio will be subject to Ohio Sales Tax unless valid tax exemption certificate is provide
- Prior to the return of any product or part, a Return Authorization number must be obtained by phone, fax, email, in writing from us. Also, when returning any part or product you must include: (1) A written statement outlining the nature of the defect/problem and noting the Return Authorization number. (2) The owner’s name, address, phone number. (3) A copy of the original sales invoice.
Microscope Warranty: - 1 Year Limited Warranty is applicable to Microscopes. This warranty does not supersede the manufacturers' warranty. Any cameras and software are warranted from date of purchase as follows: Cameras, 1-year limited warranty. Software, 90-day limited warranty.
- Experienced technicians with more than 10 years experience in the industry.
- 1 year limited warranty, from date of purchase, against defects in materials and workmanship.
- The limited 1-year warranty is an expression of our confidence in the materials and mechanical workmanship of our optical products and assures many years of convenient, dependable service. In the event of a defect we will, at our option, repair or replace the product (shipping costs excluded), provided the defective part is returned to us.
- IMPORTANT: When you ship your microscope, make sure to use the original packaging. Any damage caused from improper packaging will not be covered under the warranty. This warranty is not valid in cases where the product has been abused, mishandled, where unauthorized repairs have been attempted or performed, or where depreciation of the product is due to normal “wear and tear”.
Unwarranted Service and Repair: - In case of accidental or unwarranted damage, Bolden Instrument Service will provide required service and support to repair your damaged microscope. To have a damaged microscope (not covered under warranty) repaired you must first obtain a Return Authorization Number and follow steps (1) through (3) as outlined for Service and Warranty Procedure. After receipt of microscope, Bolden Instrument Service will quote you a price for repair. After an agreement, the microscope will be shipped back to you. The present service schedule
